Vocal Music Education Initiatives

Year-long Artist-in-Residence Programs in which Chorale artists work with students weekly through the school year in elementary, intermediate and high schools. National Chorale vocal Music Education Initiatives regularly include many schools with large numbers of minority and economically disadvantaged children. Participation in these programs integrates students into the school community, encourages them to attend school regularly and improves their academic skills. Many more schools have requested these programs than the Chorale’s current resources are able to provide.
